Still on the topic of existing projects launching their own layer 2 networks.

Yesterday, on the 21st of November, Blur (a popular NFT marketplace known for its massive airdrop distribution) launched its own layer 2 network for Ethereum blockchain.

"The layer 2 with native yield" as it describes itself, raised $20M for funding round as was announced on the X page yesterday.

Mainnet is set to go live in February 2024 but interested participants can get early access to test the network and earn Blast Points which will be redeemable by May 2024 (potential airdrop).

The list of layer 2s keeps getting longer :)
