PropyKeys, a real estate project utilizing tokens on the Base platform, a Layer 2 network on Ethereum, is now accessible to the general public.

Through the PropyKeys app, individuals can create digital representations of physical properties, spanning from residential addresses to renowned global landmarks. The primary objective of this initiative is to heighten the security of property deeds by transitioning from traditional paper-based methods to digital systems on the blockchain. This shift aims to combat fraudulent activities related to property deeds and simplify the buying and selling processes of real estate.

Part of the larger Propy ecosystem, PropyKeys is associated with the PRO token, which has experienced a 45% increase in value over the last month, although it remains significantly below its peak in 2018. The platform is now implementing a staking feature that incentivizes users with PRO tokens for generating and securing on-chain addresses and title deeds. Furthermore, users have the opportunity to create AI-generated NFTs of global landmarks, which can be customized with cryptocurrency branding and unique designs.

During a beta testing phase lasting two months, close to 1,800 digital addresses were generated, as reported by a Dune dashboard. Holders of these digital representations have the option to transfer the NFTs to the rightful property owners in exchange for enhanced staking capabilities.
