According to the filing, Coinbase Credit will serve as the trade credit lender, allowing ProShares to borrow Ethereum and cash for certain transactions. Bank of New York Mellon will act as the transfer agent, administrator, and cash custodian, while Coinbase Custody will serve as the Ethereum custodian. Delaware Trust Company will act as the trustee, and ProShare Capital Management will be the sponsor.

The filing highlights the roles of various participants and allows for changes, including the addition or termination of ETH custodians, cash custodians, and prime execution agents. This flexibility ensures the fund can adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory requirements.

While the SEC has not yet approved the proposed rule change concerning ProShares' fund, the decision is expected in the coming weeks or months. Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart notes that the fund may not launch alongside competing spot ETH ETFs, which began seeking approval earlier.
