Ramp Network, a company that specializes in financial technology and helps connect cryptocurrencies to the global financial system, recently announced the availability of purchasing and selling USDt on Tether’s TON stablecoin through their platform.

By enabling the use of native USDt on TON, Ramp Network aims to create a seamless and borderless experience for peer-to-peer transactions within the Telegram Messenger ecosystem, which boasts over 900 million users worldwide. This move will support the growth of Telegram’s Apps and decentralized services on TON network, enhancing the capabilities of USDt, the world's most utilized stablecoin with a market cap exceeding 107 billion dollars.

Ramp's decision to facilitate USDt on TON transactions will benefit the entire TON ecosystem, streamlining in-and-out transactions. Their user-friendly cryptocurrency on- and off-ramps make it easy for users in over 150 countries to buy and sell digital assets. With a straightforward Know Your Customer (KYC) process, Ramp Network simplifies customer onboarding and offers swaps between crypto and fiat for over 100 digital assets seamlessly.

Szymon Sypniewicz, CEO of Ramp Network, expressed his excitement about the collaboration with TON Foundation, stating that cryptocurrency transactions should be as easy as sending a text message. By introducing on-ramping and off-ramping for USDt on TON across more than 150 countries, Ramp Network looks forward to enhancing access to instant, low-cost crypto transactions for millions of users within the TON ecosystem.

Ramp Network plans to gradually roll out support for USDt on TON through their main website and interfaces, and collaborate with third-party wallets that support TON assets. Ultimately, USDt on TON will be integrated into the fiat off-ramp, following the successful on-ramping for the network's native Toncoin (TON) back in December 2023.
