The forthcoming recalibration is scheduled for March 27, with BTC.com projecting a marginal 0.07% uptick. On March 1, there was a 2.9% decline in Bitcoin (BTC) mining complexity. The complexity level dictates the total equipment power required for cryptocurrency mining. An elevation in this measure accelerates the approaching halving event for the leading cryptocurrency.

The index for BTC mining difficulty started an upward climb notably in September 2023, coinciding with Bitcoin's valuation crossing $30,000. Since then, it has consistently remained below this threshold.

March 14 witnessed BTC achieving a new all-time high (ATH) of $73,737. As per CoinGecko, Bitcoin's worth surged by close to 46% in the preceding month.

As of now, Bitcoin is exchanging hands at $71,885. The asset's value dipped by 1.4% over the last 24 hours, and the daily trading volume fell by 27% to $44 billion. BTC's market capitalization is presently above $1.4 trillion.

Bitcoin futures trading on exchanges hit a historical high open interest (OI) of $33.9 billion on March 13. Such OI levels signal increased market activity and trader optimism surrounding these instruments.
