The study indicates that the protocol's forthcoming cost-reduction upgrade makes it an attractive choice for long-term projects and investments.

In terms of user-friendliness, the Universelle study suggests that the SRC20 protocol surpasses Runes and BRC20 as it doesn't necessitate transfer inscriptions or UTXO splitting. While BRC20 and Runes have more extensive infrastructure and wallet support, the report observes that the SRC20 protocol is rapidly closing the gap.

Regarding funding, projects based on SRC20 have secured venture capital investments ranging from $5 million to $10 million, slightly less than the $20 million attracted by BRC20. However, the Universelle analysis predicts that capital inflows into SRC20 tokens will increase with greater acceptance and adoption.

The Universelle report also identifies influencer and community support as key drivers of adoption and ongoing relevance for SRC20 in the competitive crypto landscape. Angel Haro, co-founder of Universelle, underscores SRC20's zero losses as evidence of the protocol's resilience.
