Kardan notes a shift from the "play-to-earn" models seen in other successful Web3 games like Axie Infinity, towards more traditional monetization methods like advertising, as seen in Notcoin.

Yat Siu, co-founder of blockchain gaming venture capitalist firm Animoca Brands, attributes the resurgence of Web3 games to TON and Telegram's adaptability in capturing viral growth, which has been lacking in Web2 platforms like Facebook, Apple App Store, and Google Platforms. Gamee, a Web3 gaming company deploying hyper-casual games on TON and Telegram, has experienced increased player engagement due to staking and idle game mechanics, leading to around one million average daily active users. Siu notes that a considerable portion of Telegram users are already familiar with crypto, suggesting a seamless blend of Web2 and Web3 gamers in a shared ecosystem.

Michał Dąbrowski, CEO and founder of Elympics, a blockchain game infrastructure provider, believes that integrating blockchain-based infrastructure could address traditional game developers' struggles with monetization mechanics, allowing studios to incentivize and engage players through cryptocurrency wallets. Dąbrowski sees vast potential for the TON ecosystem, especially given Telegram's extensive user base.
