The company has announced several key updates regarding its production and operations, including the deployment of miners and immersion tanks at its facilities.

The deployment of miners and immersion tanks is expected to contribute to the company's overall hash rate capacity and enhance its operations. Riot anticipates achieving a total self-mining hash rate capacity of 31 EH/s by the end of 2024, driven by the deployment of miners and immersion tanks at its facilities.

Riot has also proposed to acquire its rival Bitfarms for US$2.30 per Bitfarms common share. This acquisition could make Riot the largest publicly listed Bitcoin miner globally. The combination will result in a company operating 15 facilities across the United States, Canada, Paraguay, and Argentina, with up to 2.2 GW of total power capacity when fully developed.
