According to Garlinghouse, the upcoming elections in the United States hold immense significance for the crypto industry, with bipartisan candidates increasingly embracing the sector. Notably, Republican nominee Donald Trump expressed support for crypto innovation, although his candidacy faces scrutiny following a guilty verdict on document forgery charges. Conversely, the Biden administration has signaled openness to negotiating digital asset policies, despite mixed signals regarding specific bills like FIT21.

Addressing the stablecoin market, Garlinghouse projected exponential growth, estimating a potential ten to twentyfold increase into a multi-trillion-dollar ecosystem within the next five years. Ripple is actively developing its own stablecoin to compete with established players like Tether and Circle USD Coin, but Garlinghouse emphasized that opportunities for growth extend across the industry.

Garlinghouse urged for greater unity within the crypto community, advocating against divisive rhetoric and maximalist attitudes.
