Bitcoin's remarkable performance in reaching all-time highs during February and March sparked immense interest in the cryptocurrency market, leading to the emergence of numerous new millionaires. The pre-registration buzz and growing fascination with meme coins grabbed the attention of investors and enthusiasts alike. Lookonchain shared the latest news regarding one of these popular meme coins.

A recent report from cryptocurrency tracking firm Lookonchain unveiled the astonishing success of two unique wallets that experienced a monumental increase of 30,830 times with a meme coin on Ethereum's layer-2 scaling solution, Base network. In February, these wallets, part of the meme coin Brett (BRETT) whitelist, invested 0.034 ETH valued at $102 to acquire a significant amount of 172.56 million BRETT tokens.

Subsequently, these wallets redistributed the BRETT tokens to other holders and sold 122.74 million BRETT, equivalent to $3.14 million or 890.65 ETH, resulting in an unprecedented gain of 30,830 times. The wallet addresses included on the whitelist were participants approved for a specific crypto event, similar to an initial coin offering (ICO), according to information from Coinbase. Analyst Shady noted that the distribution of Brett included 139 wallets on the whitelist.

Brett, identified as the mascot of the Base network, is currently being traded at $0.0397, with a slight decline of more than 14% in the past 24 hours. Moreover, Lookonchain highlighted the unexpected activity of an inactive Ethereum wallet that recently transferred $6.65 million worth of 2,000 ETH over the weekend. Originally purchasing ETH at $0.90 in 2025, the value of these ETH tokens surged by nearly 370,000% over a span of nine years. Despite the current ETH price resting below $3,000 at $2,981, there has been a notable 10% increase in the 24-hour trading volume, reaching $16.4 billion amidst the slight price drop.
