This acquisition not only integrates Multis's technology into the Safe Ecosystem Foundation but also welcomes its senior leadership team, including former CEO Thibaut Sahaghian, who will now serve as the Network Abstraction Lead within the Safe ecosystem.

Richard Meissner, co-founder of Safe, highlighted the surging demand for the platform's services, particularly from emerging Layer 2 ecosystems seeking robust infrastructure support for managing digital assets. With the acquisition, Safe aims to simplify the cross-network experience, crucial for expanding its services.

Multis specializes in assisting projects, such as companies and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), in managing their treasuries through a unified dashboard for payments and accounting. With over 100 projects, including prominent names like Axie Infinity, Audius, and Connext, utilizing its platform, Multis has carved a niche in the crypto space.

Originally known as Gnosis Safe, Safe provides a platform for creating multisig crypto wallets, requiring multiple parties to authorize transactions. Its wallets oversee approximately $96 billion in value, indicating its significant presence in the crypto market.

The acquisition aligns with Safe's goal of fostering interaction across blockchains, ultimately enabling crypto users to manage their assets seamlessly across multiple blockchains.
