Saga, a newcomer in the crypto world, is making waves with its recent announcement of over $13 billion staked in less than 24 hours, setting a new record for the largest launchpool on Binance.

Binance, the leading exchange platform, welcomed Saga as its 51st project on Binance Launchpool on April 4, with trading set to start on April 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM UTC. Users were able to farm SAGA tokens by staking BNB and FDUSD in separate pools on Binance Launchpool for four days.

The Saga team took to their X account to announce the impressive milestone, stating that over $13 billion were staked in under 24 hours, making it the largest launchpool in Binance history. Binance reported that the current total BNB staked is a little under 18 million BNB, with BNB trading in the green on CoinMarketCap, up by almost 1.50% in the past 24 hours.

In addition to this achievement, the Saga team also announced the final cohort of Saga Innovators before the mainnet launch, expressing gratitude to the more than 350 projects that have joined the program.

Saga's core offering is the ability to create dedicated blockchains, known as "chainlets," which are designed based on specific applications, eliminating the need for developers to compete for blockspace with other projects on congested networks. This focus on empowering developers and tackling scalability and development complexities has drawn significant attention to the project, making it a notable new entry in the crypto landscape.
