The hacker also promoted Luna 2.0 tokens, resulting in brief price increases. GCR confirmed the hack, advising followers to disregard any promotional posts from his account.

He suspects someone at X.com was bribed to provide his login credentials, compromising his account despite enhanced security measures. Following the hacker's post, ORDI's price briefly climbed from $40 to $44 before falling back to $40, and Luna 2.0 saw a temporary 274% increase.

Crypto observers speculate the hack could be part of a broader scam targeting celebrities and influencers. Bitcoin developer Udi Wertheimer and crypto blogger Colin Wu highlighted potential motives and prior positioning on exchanges like OKX and Binance. Analyst Miles Deutscher critiqued the hacker's choice of tokens to promote, suggesting missed opportunities for larger gains.

In related incidents, American rapper Rich The Kid and media celebrity Caitlyn Jenner's X accounts were also hacked to promote new tokens, RICH and JENNER, on the pump.fun platform, resulting in significant but temporary market value increases. Jenner later defended the JENNER token despite hack suspicions, encouraging followers to invest.
