Taking to the social media platform X on Thursday, Senator Lummis declared, "We are building a pro-crypto army in Congress," signaling her determination to champion the cause of cryptocurrency within legislative circles.

This initiative draws parallels to Trump's own rhetoric, as the former president and current Republican presidential candidate had previously articulated his campaign's intention to assemble a "crypto army" in preparation for the 2024 presidential election.

Highlighting the ideological divide on cryptocurrency within the political landscape, the Trump campaign pointed to remarks made by Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren, a vocal critic of digital assets. Warren had expressed her intention to construct an "anti-crypto army" aimed at curtailing Americans' freedom to exercise their financial autonomy.
