Shibarium supports various growing segments of the Shiba Inu Ecosystem, including $SHIB and $LEASH tokens, SHEboshis DN-404 tokens, SHIB The Metaverse, the ShibaSwap DEX, and the Shiba Eternity game. The layer 2 Shibarium mainnet, launched in August 2023, has created 21 million wallets and been trialed by millions of users, featuring a new consensus mechanism called proof-of-participation (PoP).

This consensus mechanism works by selecting validators based upon their holdings of the associated cryptocurrency, ensuring a more decentralized and community-driven approach to validation. The Shibarium mainnet has been designed to be highly scalable, secure, and efficient, providing a robust foundation for the Shiba Inu Ecosystem.
