Peaq, a blockchain network designed for Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN) and Real-World Assets (RWAs) within the Polkadot ecosystem, witnessed adoption from two significant DePIN projects, MapMetrics and Natix Network, in the past week.

Migration of MapMetrics:

On April 25, MapMetrics, a Web3 drive-to-earn platform, announced its transition from the Solana blockchain to Peaq. This move aims to leverage the unique features offered by Peaq's DePIN-focused network.

MapMetrics anticipates benefiting from Peaq's seamless integration with other DePINs and its innovative Machine Composability feature. Additionally, the project seeks to tap into Peaq's expanding enterprise ecosystem and leverage its core DePIN functions and economic model.

MapMetrics incentivizes users with tokens and NFTs for contributing anonymous real-time traffic and map data, aiming to establish a decentralized global map using Web3 technology.

Brent van der Heiden, co-founder of MapMetrics, highlighted Peaq's suitability for DePIN-centric environments, emphasizing its transaction stability, robust machine data verification, and tailored economic model.

Integration of NATIX Network:

On April 26, Peaq announced NATIX Network's successful integration of Peaq IDs into its street-mapping DePIN. Peaq ID serves as a decentralized machine identity on the layer1 network.

During the testing phase, NATIX effectively utilized Peaq IDs within its Drive& app, a platform dedicated to real-time geospatial data collection. Peaq IDs were assigned to mobile devices within the app's staging environment to manage data flows efficiently.

NATIX plans to explore Peaq IDs' capabilities further, alongside other core functions like Peaq Access and Peaq Verify. Integration of Peaq Verify, a data verification framework, is expected to enhance data integrity, crucial for safeguarding against potential misuse.

Natix Network collects real-time mapping data through its mobile app, Drive&, enabling users to record mapping data using smartphone cameras and driver assistant applications like dashcams.
