Solend has introduced Margin, a new feature on Jupiter Exchange aimed at facilitating leveraged trading with minimal user effort. Margin streamlines borrowing and leveraging processes, making it more convenient for users to engage in both long and short trades with tokens supported by the Solana-based protocol.

This addition follows Solend's previous introduction of Margin and Points, each serving distinct purposes within the community. While Margin focuses on simplifying leverage trading, Points are designed to reward users for their involvement in lending, borrowing, and trading activities.

Solend Points, consisting of a dynamic pool of 100,000 SLND tokens, are distributed based on the growth of reward partnerships over time. Although the initial prize pool is set for Season One, future editions may see adjustments to benefit the community accordingly.

Earning Points involves participating in the Main Pool through deposits and borrowing, trading on Margin, and contributing to the community through content creation and engagement. This comprehensive approach encompasses all aspects of the community, whether platform-related or social.

While the launch of Margin has elicited mixed reactions from the community, with some expressing excitement and others dissatisfaction, Solend sees it as a natural extension of lending, streamlining the process of margin trading by eliminating the need for external platforms and multiple steps.

Despite fluctuations in SLND's market performance, including a recent decrease in market cap but an increase in trading volume, the launch of Margin and other developments signal progress for the community, with many acknowledging the importance of introducing new features and incentives to drive growth.
