Space and Time (SxT), a decentralized data warehouse leveraging AI for instructing its data models, is set to unveil its network on a zkSync hyperchain.

Traditional blockchain networks face limitations in interoperability with other chains, often operating in silos. zkSync hyperchains address this challenge by providing open-source infrastructure tailored specifically for zk rollups and Layer 3 networks. This enables the creation of interconnected ecosystems through decentralized patterns, facilitating more efficient transaction processing.

Moreover, hyperchains incorporate hyperbridges, which facilitate seamless asset and data transfers across different blockchains. By tackling interoperability issues, zkSync hyperchains have the potential to streamline transactions, reduce fees, and foster a more adaptable blockchain ecosystem.

SxT is designed for gathering and analyzing blockchain data, with the next phase involving integration with smart contracts. The data platform will function as a zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) verifiable compute layer (VCL), ensuring that data passed on to smart contracts and enterprises is accurate, verifiable, and tamper-proof.

According to Vassilis Tziokas, Head of Enterprise Business Development at Matter Labs, SxT will introduce novel concepts to zkSyncs, including a decentralized data warehouse and the Proof of SQL protocol. Tziokas believes this will enable zero-knowledge authentication queries to verify that both raw data and responses remain tamper-proof.

Upon launch, the platform will introduce new features, such as offering zkSync data from zkSyncEra and hyperchains for free. Builders will only incur costs for computing resources utilized to execute queries, without having to pay for data storage and indexing.

In the words of Scott Dykstra, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at SxT, their intention was to utilize a zkEVM as the exclusive settlement layer for their network, and zkSync was the optimal choice for them.
