As per Polygon's official blog post dated March 15th, the network is collaborating with Spatial Labs, also known as sLabs, to develop hardware and gadgets simplifying access to the metaverse. Polygon's infrastructure advantages, including speed and cost-effectiveness, have driven Spatial Labs to choose Polygon as its partner. Additionally, Polygon's layer-2 solution has emerged as a preferred choice for developing dApps in recent times.

Headquartered in California, Spatial Labs, founded by Ghanaian digital architect Iddris Sandu, focuses on emerging areas like the metaverse. The project aims to create wearables serving as "physical entry points" to the metaverse. Its latest product, LNQ, blends fashion and technology, offering wearables for entry into the LNQ ecosystem, set to launch by year-end, albeit still in the development phase.

The LNQ project enables users to integrate metaverse features with real-life purchases, creating customizable Avatars known as Auras representing their digital identities. These Auras' customization directly correlates with users' app or in-store purchases, making Polygon's NFT ecosystem the ideal platform for implementation.

Community participation in governance decisions is a cornerstone of this project, facilitated by community voting powered by the proof-of-Tap feature. This feature also enables minting and asset collection within the ecosystem, fostering connectivity with users and maintaining decentralization.

The LNQ project, leveraging Polygon's ecosystem for lower gas fees and increased scalability, aligns with Polygon's focus on exploring web3 possibilities. Polygon's partnerships and projects increasingly emphasize the NFT marketplace and gaming, with existing projects like OpenSea and support for the Decentraland metaverse. The partnership with Iddris Sandu's Spatial Labs could potentially propel Polygon's web3 developments to new heights.
