stc Bahrain has entered an exclusive agreement with Ava Labs to implement an Avalanche Subnet, a crucial component of its Web3 launchpad initiative aimed at accelerating blockchain technology adoption in the Middle East.

This partnership was announced at the Token 2049 event in Dubai, where Avalanche was designated as the Qala’a Path Partner and Industry Ambassador as part of stc Bahrain’s Web3 Launchpad Program. The Qala’a Path, named after the UNESCO-listed Bahrain Fort, symbolizes a commitment to establishing a Web3 base in the region.

As a subsidiary of the telecommunications giant stc Group, known for its significant infrastructure projects like the installation of a major subsea cable and construction of an integrated data center park, stc Bahrain plans to leverage Avalanche to develop Web3 infrastructure in the region.

stc Bahrain praises Avalanche's robust Subnet architecture for enabling bespoke solutions, high throughput, and near-instant transaction finality, setting it apart as an ideal platform for creating a regional ecosystem of decentralized applications (dApps) while ensuring top-notch performance and security.

As an official representative of Avalanche, stc Bahrain will promote Web3 adoption on the platform through various initiatives such as marketing campaigns, conferences, and hackathons, aiming to foster innovation and community engagement.
