This move coincides with the launch of "Meme Perp Summer," a six-week campaign aimed at broadening the protocol’s community asset offerings and rewarding meme communities driving organic growth on Base. With a substantial rewards pool of 100,000 USDC and future airdrop allocations, the initiative underscores SynFutures’ commitment to nurturing emerging token projects.

This expansion to Base marks a pivotal step in SynFutures’ multichain strategy for V3. Within just four months on Blast, SynFutures has achieved nearly $100 billion in cumulative volume, facilitated over 4 million transactions, and engaged 142,000 on-chain users.

While continuing to support Blast, SynFutures aims to expand its reach, solidifying its position as the preferred platform for trading trending tokens, including memecoins and altcoins. V3 has already facilitated perp pairs for trending tokens like PAC, DEGEN, YES, WIF, and ESE on Blast, and will replicate this success on Base.

Memecoin Perp Summer

Scheduled from June 18 to July 29, 2024, Memecoin Perp Summer aims to highlight and reward emerging token projects that demonstrate genuine traction and engagement. Selected projects stand to earn rewards from the 100,000 USDC pool, which can be used to acquire tokens from their treasury or designated DEX for listing on SynFutures. Memecoin trading pairs will be listed against WETH or USDC, enhancing liquidity and trading opportunities.

Campaign Timeline and Key Dates:

- June 18: Campaign launch and start of token project sign-ups
- June 25: Deadline for token project sign-ups; announcement of eligible projects and reward allocations
- June 26: Listing of eligible token trading pairs on SynFutures with exclusive one-day promotion on social media channels
- July 29: Tentative end date for Memecoin Perp Summer Campaign

Eligibility and Participation:

Token projects interested in participation must meet specific criteria, including having an ERC20 token on Base, an engaged community, and a track record of traction without risk of rug-pull. Requirements include:

- 5,000 social media followers
- $100K trading volume in the last 24 hours
- Active social media engagement and regular community events
- Trading pairs listed on Uniswap v2
- Willingness to collaborate on marketing with SynFutures
