Organizations can now leverage IBM watsonx's capabilities alongside Tech Mahindra's consulting and engineering skills to access a range of new generative AI services and frameworks. This collaboration facilitates the development of AI applications that automate processes using trusted data, promoting explainability to manage risk and bias while enabling scalable AI adoption across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.

According to Kunal Purohit, Tech Mahindra's chief digital services officer, organizations are increasingly focusing on responsible AI practices and integrating generative AI technologies to revitalize enterprises. The collaboration with IBM aims to advance digital transformation, GenAI adoption, modernization, and foster business growth for global customers.

To further enhance AI capabilities, Tech Mahindra has established a virtual watsonx Centre of Excellence (CoE) to drive co-innovation and develop unique offerings based on their combined strengths.

The collaborative solutions developed through this partnership could help enterprises construct machine learning models using open-source frameworks, scaling and accelerating the impact of generative AI to enhance efficiency and productivity responsibly.

Notably, Tech Mahindra and IBM have previously collaborated, with Tech Mahindra opening a Synergy Lounge in conjunction with IBM on its Singapore campus earlier this year, aiming to accelerate digital adoption for APAC organizations.

Beyond Tech Mahindra, IBM watsonx has been utilized in other collaborations to deploy generative AI quickly.
