Tensor, the leading NFT platform on Solana, has distributed TNSR tokens valued at $250 million, representing 12.5% of the total token supply, to early adopters. Currently, the project is valued at $19 billion in terms of total diluted valuation.

On April 8th, TNDR was activated at just over $1 and quickly surged to $2.23. However, since then, the token has experienced a decline as recipients of the airdrop have been selling their tokens, resulting in the current price of $1.84.

According to FlipsideCrypto, Tensor dominates the Solana NFT trading scene, boasting a total volume of 3.9 million SOL, equivalent to over $2 billion. It significantly outpaces its closest competitor, Magic Eden, by more than 1.3 million SOL. Total trading volume on Tensor has surpassed $6.7 million, with approximately 6.5% attributed to wash trades.

An important development to note is the decline in value of the NFT collection associated with Tensor, called Tensorians, which consists of 10,000 NFTs. It has seen a significant drop in value, trading at approximately 18 SOL, or $3,200.

Concerned Tensorian holders have expressed disappointment, disagreeing with the decision to dilute the involvement of prominent ecosystem backers.

According to Mondoggg, a pseudonymous co-founder of Resonance Lab, an NFT platform, while acknowledging Tensor's efforts, there is confusion regarding the allocation of tokens, particularly why individuals with only one transaction are receiving 420 tokens while staked Tensorians are receiving just 1,100 tokens.

The current airdrop represents 12.5% of the total token supply, amounting to 1 billion TNSR. The team has allocated 55% to the community, 27% to key contributors, 9% to investors, and reserved 9% for future funding and development.

The remaining 42.5% allocated to the community will be used for incentive programs, providing liquidity, and offering grants that support the Tensor community.
