TeraWulf Inc., a major player in the U.S. Bitcoin mining sector, has recently released its operational update for March 2024, highlighting its progress towards eco-friendly cryptocurrency mining. TeraWulf boasts an impressive installed hash rate of 8 EH/s, with plans to increase this to 10 EH/s by mid-2024, while also prioritizing sustainability. The company's goal is to use over 95% zero-carbon energy for its operations, aiming for 100% in the future.

TeraWulf's March production totaled 379 Bitcoin, averaging 12.2 Bitcoin per day, at an average power cost of $13,798 per Bitcoin mined. This improvement is due to the replacement of 1,000 older miners with the more efficient S19k Pro miners, with an additional 3,000 to be added in early April. This move not only enhances operational efficiency but also reduces the carbon footprint of Bitcoin mining.

The Lake Mariner facility has also seen improvements, including the installation of third-party firmware promising a 10% efficiency increase for a significant portion of the mining fleet. The construction of Building 4 at the Lake Mariner facility, set for completion by mid-2024, will further boost TeraWulf's mining capacity.
