The Terra Luna Classic community has passed a crucial proposal to revise the burn tax distribution, marking a significant shift in the project's direction. The proposal, which received an overwhelming 98.04% "Yes" vote, aims to reallocate the burn tax distribution to improve long-term staking rewards and enhance the overall health of the network.

The revised burn tax distribution will see 20% of the tax allocated to the Oracle pool, rather than the current 10% distribution to the Community Pool and rewards. This change is expected to improve the staking rewards for validators and increase the overall APR by about 0.5%. However, it will also impact immediate block rewards for LUNC users, who will no longer receive the full 20% distribution.

The developer, Till Z., has begun working on implementing the changes, which are expected to be completed by mid-July. The proposal has received significant support from validators, with top validators such as Allnodes, Interstellar Lounge, and JESUSisLORD backing the change.
