The Game Maker Fund, backed by The Sandbox, has launched "The Valley of Belonging," offering a diverse metaverse experience celebrating every background and identity. The Sandbox highlights its commitment to freedom, diversity, and pride through this initiative. Developed by People of Crypto and Hermit Crab Game Studio, the project promotes participation, representation, and diversity in the metaverse, creating a valley where hate is absent, equality is distinct, and empathy is routine.

"The Valley of Belonging" welcomes all sexual orientations, gender identities, disabilities, and ethnicities. Evelyn, the city’s mayor, invites new players to help organize and run the Pride Parade. Players can interact with drag queens Finn, Trinity, and Evelyn, complete various tasks, and collect 25 unique items.

Additionally, players can explore four points of interest, decorate the city, and engage in community activities to learn about diversity. According to Hermit Crab Game Studio, the valley is a safe, inclusive space for everyone, aiming to start a movement for better representation in the metaverse. As Pride Month concludes, this vibrant and energetic project, featuring a pink lake and a cloud parade, is set to be celebrated by various communities.
