Ronin Network and Kaidro have merged, combining Kaidro's extensive platform, known for webcomics, games, and animation, with Ronin's digital ownership offerings since 2021. Kaidro, originally a popular online comic on Webtoons, has evolved into a multimedia platform. Supported by the production studio Gadget-Bot, Kaidro will develop a story-driven multiplayer action role-playing game (RPG) called Kaidro.

The term "Kaidro," which translates to "source bearer," is associated with individuals possessing relics that can imbue vitality from the Astral Realm into the Tal’jor region. The Kaidro saga begins with "Kaidro: The Awakening," following Ava, a mining vessel contractor from Tal’jor, who experiences visions of her past while understanding her mission to prevent humanity's destruction.

Inspired by mecha anime and science fiction, Kaidro draws from universes like Star Wars, Gundam, and Avatar: The Last Bender, offering a diverse range of content. Ronin, through partnerships with Kaidro and Gadget-Bot, has expanded its ecosystem to include the Mavis Store, where players can purchase in-game items, enriching their digital experiences.

Ronin will exclusively host the Web3 Kaidro game developed by Gadget-Bot, set in a post-apocalyptic world where mech-equipped factions clash with powerful magic users. Players form teams to engage in various gameplay modes, including PvP, PvE, and quests, across different maps.

Peggy Chung and Robert Simons, co-founders of Kaidro, express gratitude for partnerships aligning with their long-term goals, while Gadget-Bot Productions financially supports the Kaidro universe, leveraging the founders' experience with notable projects like Jurassic World and Transformers.

Trung Nguyen, CEO of Sky Mavis, anticipates significant benefits from the partnership with Gadget-Bot, given their expertise in developing intellectual properties for AAA video games, foreseeing mutual advantages for both entities.
