Solana has unveiled its Solana Renaissance Hackathon, powered by Colosseum, set to take place online from March 4 to April 8, offering various prizes. The announcement was shared via Solana Foundation’s official X/Twitter channel, highlighting prizes and pre-seed funding available for participants. In a series of tweets, Solana shared additional information about the hackathon, with Symmetry offering the grand prize, Solana Mobile sponsoring consumer apps, and Orca supporting DeFi+ payments. Other partners include io.net for DePIN, Pyth Network for event structure, Phantom for gaming, and Squads Protocol for DAOs and Communities.

The Solana Hackathon, a competition where participants transform ideas into projects within five weeks, offers an opportunity for selected winners to join Colosseum’s accelerator and receive $250,000 in pre-seed capital. With a track record of over 4,000 eco products, 60,000+ participants, and $600 million+ in venture funding over three years, the hackathon has proven successful, providing encouragement to aspiring developers.

To help participants make the most of the event, Solana will host an AMA session on March 5 at 10 a.m. PST, featuring industry experts who can offer valuable insights and guidance.
