"I am from Kenya, but now I live in the Netherlands with my partner. Last year, we were blessed with a child, and the experience here was incredible. I walked through my entire pregnancy journey with the same midwife, who guided me through everything, ensuring I remained in a good mental space even during the challenging moments. Every aspect of care was meticulously provided, including home visits that offered all the attention and support needed.

After delivery, the care continued with visits from the midwife and a nurse at home for the first week, ensuring my well-being. I also received a comprehensive book that covered everything I needed to know about caring for my baby. Going through this experience, I realized that every woman deserves such support in the first year of having a baby.

I recognized the importance of addressing postpartum mental wellness, a topic often overlooked. Therefore, I made the decision to work with 10 mothers each year, creating a community where we can openly discuss postpartum issues.

My partner, being a Bitcoin enthusiast, introduced me to Bitcoin, and I saw its potential to do good. That's why I decided to combine Bitcoin with my endeavor because I believe empowering women is key to opening up more opportunities, especially during times when they may feel their lowest, such as after having children, ensuring a brighter future for both mothers and their children"

Inspired by her personal journey in a faraway land, Nnmbuiyana—an ardent bitcoiner—became acutely aware of the challenges faced by mothers in childcare and breastfeeding stages, particularly those dealing with early age pregnancies, also known as Teenage pregnancy. Her experience of motherhood, while a thousand miles away from home, coupled with her strong ties to her origin, fueled her decision to guide, educate, and support mothers in Kenya through her organization called Bitcoin Babies.

Bitcoin Babies is a foundation dedicated to educating mothers on nutritional tips for the proper care of their babies. Additionally, they empower mothers with knowledge about Bitcoin to help them gain financial freedom.

Through structured initiatives, Bitcoin Babies has adopted a multifaceted approach to fulfill its mission, including:

Sensitization on proper infant nutrition: Through their newly published educational book, mothers are taught about proper infant diets, cost-effective meals, the benefits of breastmilk, and everything they need to know to raise healthy and strong babies—future bitcoiners.

Bitcoin knowledge:Through this educational guide, mothers learn not only the basics of Bitcoin but also its practical applications in daily life. They are taught how to save and spend satoshis, the smallest unit of Bitcoin, empowering them to participate in the digital economy and make informed decisions to secure their financial future and that of their babies.

Financial aid: Monthly allocation of satoshis to mothers to alleviate their financial burdens and meets their pressing needs. These funds are sourced from generous donations and profits generated from the sales of baby merchandise.
