The Tensor Foundation has outlined its strategy for the TNSR token in a recent tweet. This organization, established in 2022, is a key supporter of the Solana NFT marketplace, striving to compete with platforms like Magic Eden for dominance in the Solana NFT sector. According to data from NFT explorer Tiexo, Tensor currently commands 33.495% of the NFT market share, with Solans holding 62.16%.

In the perspective of the Tensor Foundation, NFTs are on the verge of becoming a pivotal component of the digital landscape, poised to drive products, companies, and large enterprises, with NFT trading volumes expected to reach billions. While the foundation had not previously announced any plans for an airdrop, it revealed in May 2023 its intention to conduct a Season 1 airdrop, allowing Solana NFT collectors to claim free reward boxes tied to their trading activities.

The foundation emphasizes the speed and cost-effectiveness of the Solana blockchain, considering it one of the fastest and most efficient platforms for NFT trading, essential for the widespread adoption of NFTs. To date, Tensor protocols have facilitated over $2 billion worth of Solana NFT trades, accounting for more than 70% of Solana's NFT trade volume over the past three months.

Moving forward, Tensor intends to leverage the TNSR token as a governance mechanism for its protocols and community, fostering an ecosystem of builders and developers eager to contribute to the growth and success of NFTs.
