Theta Labs recently discussed the forthcoming EdgeCloud Q2 launch, which is eagerly awaited. Currently, the team is actively developing v1 of EdgeCloud.

This suite of tools will provide researchers, businesses, and developers with access to highly efficient GPU processing power for tasks such as gaming, 3D rendering, video rendering, and AI processing.

The strategy involves leveraging the benefits of decentralized platforms and cloud computing. Through EdgeCloud, utilizing the robust Theta Edge Network, overall processing power for all users will be enhanced.

Previously, Theta Labs announced the introduction of its EdgeCloud toolset alongside other AI models. Now, the company has confirmed that EdgeCloud v1 is scheduled for release on May 1st. This release will offer AI developers access to tools and dashboards for EdgeCloud.

The platform will support various AI models such as stable diffusion text-to-video and text-to-image, Meta Llama 2, Google Gemma LLMs, and CodeLlama coding model. These AI models will be available as templates for users to choose from, facilitating easy configuration.

Theta Labs intends to roll out an updated Edge node client with Elite+ Booster features on June 26. This feature will enable Edge Network users to participate in computing and AI tasks via EdgeCloud.

These releases have been divided into two sections for an upcoming hackathon, although details about the event have yet to be announced. It is expected to attract new developers to the Theta ecosystem and EdgeCloud.

This approach also enables collaboration with early AI partners and customers to test the ecosystem. With the June 26 release, the rewards system will also be finalized.

Furthermore, Theta aims to complete the integration with a cloud-based GPU platform and distributed edge nodes. Given the scope of the forthcoming updates, the entire Theta team is diligently working to ensure their success.
