This comes in the wake of concerns raised by the crypto community regarding the fairness and transparency of token distribution by the EigenLayer protocol.

He strongly criticized the practice of creating ambiguity and teasing during token distribution events, as it can artificially inflate engagement metrics and mislead the community.

Adams cautioned against public speculation, especially when the team is uncertain about future developments or token distribution plans. He advised against teasing or hinting at potential token distributions if the team does not have concrete plans to disclose the details openly.

One of Adams' biggest grievances is the creation of low float tokens, which he considers a malicious practice. He firmly believes that projects can effectively distribute tokens without relying on centralized exchanges or market makers. Instead, he advocates for an open token distribution approach that allows genuine price discovery on decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

Additionally, Adams criticized the practice of creating an excessively high token supply to exploit people's cognitive bias towards smaller units, stating that such an approach is unnecessary. He encouraged token distributors to make a substantial portion of their tokens available for distribution, rather than being overly conservative.

Adams also cautioned against inadequate token distribution, particularly if the issuer does not believe the community deserves it. He emphasized the importance of not revealing or influencing token prices during or before distribution, as this could raise suspicions about the project's intentions and suggest that the issuer is prioritizing quick wealth over building real value.

Adams' comments come in the wake of concerns raised by the crypto community regarding the recent token distribution by EigenLayer, an Ethereum restaking protocol. Users criticized the protocol's non-transferable token structure, aggressive geo-restrictions, and an apparently short snapshot period for the airdrop. In response, EigenLayer distributed an additional 28 million EIGEN tokens to over 280,000 wallets following the initial airdrop.
