Sequel to my last post, here are four other grants programs you can apply for funding.

1. Cartesi Grants

This grant is Organized by the Cartesi blockchain.
Cartesi Blockchain provides a solution to scale decentralized applications through its application-specific rollups.

The grants program is categorized into two namely :

Cartesi Grants Program

This program gives support of up to $50,000 per project, considering it is built on cartesi, and integrates their tools and technologies.

It is also limited to projects that falls under any of the four categories:

New Ideas
Research and integrations
Developer tooling
Gaming

The application is straight forward. Provide as much details as possible, and give answers to all questions. After submission, it takes 7 days for the Grants Council Reviewer and the cartesi community to give feedback on your project, before it proceeds to the final review stage.

Developer Advocacy Seed Grants

The grant amount is capped at $5,000. Nevertheless, there are many benefits attached to it including mentorship, co-marketing opportunities, access to Cartesi core contributors and experts, NFTs and tags.

The feedback timeline is 7 days.

2. MetaMask Grants DAO

MetaMask is one of the most popular crypto wallets used to buy, sell, and store cryptocurrencies.

The grants DAO, funded by Consensys, for developers building to improve the MetaMask ecosystem. It is an employee-led initiative aimed at Consensys employees. However, external developers contributing to MetaMask can apply too.

The have a quarterly funding budget up to $600,000, and voting is done publicly on the Codefi Activate platform

3. Safe Grants

Safe is a smart account wallet that utilizes account abstraction, enabling users to recover lost accounts resulting from forgotten passwords. It also lets users batch transactions to reduce gas fees and supports joint accounts with multiple users.

Safe grants give funding to technologies that support account abstraction and are integrating Safe infrastructures such as Safe wallet and Safe core.

The total budget for funding is $1,000,000 for both the wave1(applications are closed) and wave 2 rounds.

Accepted grant categories are:

Build: Grants related to the development of Safe EVM wallet
Research: Grants focused on conducting research or studies.
Growth: Grants aimed at scaling communities, user education, and marketing campaigns
Govern: Grants intended for SafeDAO governance, management, or administration.

4. Uniswap Foundation

Uniswap is the most popular and largest decentralized exchange for swapping cryptocurrencies.

For this year, preparations are being made for the release of new grants initiatives.
