If Elon Musk tweets about anything this summer, it's likely to be—Donald Trump. Yes, Trump is the one word you're most likely to find in Elon's tweets.
But have we all forgotten what happened the last time the word "Bitcoin" found its way into Elon’s tweets? A trip down memory lane will do.

February 2021: Elon’s company, Tesla, invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin, sending the coin surging to an all-time high. Suddenly, people could buy Teslas with Bitcoin, not fiat currency.
The euphoria was high, the market was green, and then something happened.

May 2021: Elon Musk tweeted that Tesla would suspend Bitcoin payments due to environmental concerns over the energy consumption of Bitcoin mining. What followed was Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD). Panicking traders sold their holdings, and Bitcoin plummeted.
As the saying goes, "He who sets the agenda sets the tone."
But that's not all.

Not long before Elon’s sudden environmental concerns about Bitcoin, he promoted Dogecoin, calling it "the people's crypto." Three years later, he still does. Dogecoin remains the one crypto Elon frequently tweets about.

Granted, Elon Musk is pro-crypto, but that doesn't necessarily mean he can influence Bitcoin's price at this time—perhaps just a memecoin. Elon is vocal, but during the May/June bull run when Bitcoin was at $70k, it would have been the perfect time for him to start tweeting about Bitcoin again, yet he didn't. Degens now know better than to take him too seriously.

As for Trump, his name is the one you’re most likely to find in Elon's tweets. That's a bet I’d take.
