Sahil Arora, known on social media as @Habibi_Comm, has been banned from the platform X following accusations from high-profile figures, including Caitlyn Jenner and Iggy Azalea, of orchestrating "pump and dump" schemes amidst the surge of celebrity-themed memecoins.

Caitlyn Jenner publicly condemned Arora, declaring on X, "He scammed us! BIG TIME!" The alleged scam involved Arora launching the token JENNER on behalf of Jenner, having her promote it, and then selling off his own tokens to withdraw liquidity, causing the token’s value to plummet. This tactic is a well-known risk in the volatile memecoin market. Initially, the token soared to a market cap of $43 million within 24 hours but subsequently crashed to around $5 million, as reported by Dexscreener.

American rapper Rich the Kid also took to X, claiming his account was "hacked" to promote a coin by Arora. The rapper accused Arora of executing a pump and dump scheme and then blocking him. "He made a pump and dump and dumped all the money to his account and blocked me," Rich the Kid posted.

In another incident, Arora allegedly posted fake screenshots suggesting his involvement in launching a memecoin named IGGY for Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. Azalea countered by releasing her own token, MOTHER, and denounced Arora in a series of tweets, stating, "don’t believe the bullsh*t fake screenshots n all the rest… Sahil baby take your L and go already."

The Block reached out to another X account, @sahilbuilds, which is linked to Arora's Instagram and Telegram pages, for comments on the allegations and his account ban. The account responded, "[T]hey hate what they can’t create, they try every day to shut me down but nothing will really make me quit. This just powers me up more to do crazy and epic sh*t and I have a lot more big moves incoming to shake the space."

When directly asked if Jenner's claims were false, the account replied, "Yes. She wouldn’t be here in the first place if I didn’t get her on and deployed Jenner."

The memecoin market has seen explosive growth in recent months, with nearly half a million tokens created on Solana alone in May, according to The Block Pro. However, this rapid expansion has also attracted bad actors and scammers, highlighting the risks inherent in this emerging sector.
