X Layer has revealed a collaboration with Swell Network, although specific details are forthcoming. However, X Layer has made it known that they aim to leverage synergies and enhance the staking experience on their network. Swell Network has confirmed this announcement by sharing it within the community.

Swell Network has also stated that it will integrate with a broader network of zk-powered layer 2 solutions via Polygon AggLayer. Members from both communities have expressed optimism about this development.

For Swell Network, this progress follows the announcement of the impending launch of pre-launch deposits on the network. These deposits will reward users, provided they utilize supported tokens such as swETH, ALT, and STONE.

X Layer, previously operating under a different name during the testnet phase, underwent a rebranding before its mainnet launch. The team is expected to elaborate on the rationale behind this name change in the upcoming weeks.

The developer phase of X Layer is currently live, allowing developers to deploy, test, and build decentralized applications (dApps) in a secure environment. X Layer boasts over 200 dApps and infrastructure projects, including Ankr, Graph Protocol, and the Third Web.

Looking ahead, X Layer plans to celebrate the X Layer mainnet developer phase at the HK Web3 Festival 2024 on April 7, 2024. Registrations for the event are currently open.

Previously, Swell Network committed to allocating up to $300 million of restaked ETH to Drosera, enabling access to Drosera Network's decentralized incident response security technology on the testnet. This aligns with Swell Network's previous support for projects like Polyhedra Network, where tokens worth $500 million were allocated to assist in securing Bitcoin AVS.

With a deep understanding of partnership dynamics, X Layer and Swell Network join forces to unlock mutual synergies and provide users with a seamless staking experience. X Layer has recently expanded its ecosystem by welcoming six projects, each contributing to the advancement of NFTs, DeFi, and Web3 within its native ecosystem. These projects include Dackie Swap, SubQuery Network, Nerve Network, Moby HQ, Unitus, and Micro3, with the possibility of further ecosystem expansion in the future.
