The Core Objective The primary objective of this initiative is to provide 5% of the total ZETA token supply to the most promising and impactful projects developed on the ZetaChain platform. Significantly, projects focusing on Bitcoin integration will receive a dedicated 1% allocation, amounting to 21,000,000 ZETA tokens.

Token Distribution and Timeframe According to ZetaChain's ZETA Token Distribution Plan, this distribution represents the first phase of allocating 12% of the total ZETA token supply to the Ecosystem Growth Fund. The tokens will be progressively distributed over a period of three to four years, ensuring a steady flow of resources to support the development and growth of the ecosystem.

Bitcoin Infrastructure: This area encompasses the development of improved APIs, user interfaces (UIs), cross-chain transaction indexers, Bitcoin wallet support for OP_RETURN, and infrastructure to enable Bitcoin restaking.
Bitcoin-Decentralized Finance (DeFi): ZetaChain aims to foster the creation of decentralized exchanges (DEXs), money markets, lending and borrowing platforms, collateralized debt position (CDP) solutions, perpetual contract aggregators, and a wide range of other BTC-centric DeFi offerings.
Bitcoin Integration in Gaming and Social Apps: The initiative seeks to enable users to earn native Bitcoin as in-game incentives and promote the development of BTC-focused social networks supported by gas grants.
